This cottage features a green garden with a small outside seating area. The inside provides a fireplace in the living room, sofa and a small kitchenette. The room and the private bathroom are located on the upper floor.
Regional restaurants are available within 3 km of the property, most serving Madeira specialties accompanied by the area’s famed wines. Guests may also prepare simple meals in the Cabana do Pico’s kitchenette. Meals can be enjoyed either inside the cottage or outdoors, overlooking the lovely garden.
The house is located in a private area at the edge of a forest, but only a 10-minute walk from the nearest supermarket. The privacy, quietness and levada walks and hiking paths in the surrounding areas, make Cabana do Pico a special place for nature lovers.
The seaside Porto Moniz village features several restaurants, other supermarkets and a few shops. The village’s most famed attraction is its salt water swimming pool. The famed and scenic São Vicente Caves are a 25-minute drive from the property. The Funchal centre is a 55-minute drive and features a lively city centre, cafés, shops and bars.
The Madeira Airport is a 63-minute drive from the Cabana do Pico.
