Casa dos Condes transports guests to another time by offering historic accommodation in a 17th-century landmark building. The guest house features a modern pool surrounded by a spacious garden with old citrus fruit trees.

All individually decorated rooms include antique furnishings and high ceilings. Some have exposed wooden beams and air conditioning.

An Alentejo-style breakfast with local breads, cheeses and fresh fruit juices is served daily. Regional specialties such as migas and gaspacho can be prepared in Casa dos Condes’ kitchen. Packed lunches are also available.

The guest house includes 2 shared living rooms. One features an ornate, cast-iron fireplace for cold evenings. A secret passage leads to an old chapel with fresco-style paintings of biblical scenes.

Casa dos Condes is located in the village of Cano, a 10-minute drive from Sousel and 20 minutes from Avis. It is 160 km from Lisbon International Airport.
