With a pretty hilltop setting 1.5 km outside Sinalunga, Casa Madonna del Rifugio is a medieval convent from the 1400s. It has been refurbished and now offers rooms, 2 chapels and meeting areas.

Set in a large park, Casa Madonna del Rifugio has a charming courtyard with an ancient well. The convent is dedicated to St. Bernardino of Siena and its garden are ideal for walks.

Rooms have simple rustic decor and either a shared or private bathroom. Breakfast is served in the dining hall with original frescoes. Lunch and dinner are available on request.
