Obra construída a partir de 1660 sobre as ruínas do forte de Nassau, com pinturas em ouro nos altares e na coroa portuguesa, em cima da nave principal. O púlpito é decorado com pátina dourada e concha de jacarandá. O Convento guarda a belíssima escultura "Senhor Glorioso".
