Surrounded by flowering gardens and meadows, the newly renovated house is centrally situated between the town centre, the spa and the healing climate gallery. It is easily reachable on level ground. Relax in the large garden with its many quiet places and enjoy the nature, or make excursions to the beautiful surrounding area, where Austria, Italy and Slovenia meet. 15 km west of Villach lies Bad Bleiberg, Austria’s southernmost thermal bath, with a mining experience unique in all of Europe - Terra Mystica, the point of intersection of 3 distinct cultures.
Within a 20-km radius are 3 lakes: Lake Faak, Lake Wörth and Lake Ossiach. From the Dobratsch mountain, you can see as fae as Slovenia and Italy.
In 40 minutes you can reach Carinthia's capital city of Klagenfurt, the Weissensee lake, the ski areas of Nassfeld and Bad Kleinkirchheim, and many cultural sights such as Gurk Cathedral.
Also, it only takes about 2 hours to get to Salzburg, Graz or Trieste, and about 2 ½ hours to Venice.
