This family-run, 3-star hotel is a beautiful half-timbered building in the romantic Old Town centre of Bad Berleburg. Hotel Alte Schule offers direct views of the Baroque castle.
The building was home to the local school between 1923 and 1954. Despite its numerous renovation projects, it has retained its traditional character and features authentic details such as old school certificates and teaching instruments.
Hotel Alte Schule provides nostalgic accommodation in rooms offering luxurious and stylish décor. Guests can enjoy the cosy warmth of the open fireplace in winter, or else cool refreshments in the beer garden on summer days. Situated near the palace in the historical centre of the city, this hotel, built in 1800, was transformed into a hotel in the summer of 2008.
