Our hotel is particularly popular among motorcyclists, but families with children can also enjoy an active holiday or can pamper themselves with our spa facilities. The hotel is located in the centre of the square formed by Thuringia, Saxony, the Czech Republic and Franconia (in Bavaria).
Due to its well-preserved historic architecture, Saalfeld is known as the "Stony Chronicle of Thuringia". Discover the "fairy grottos" ("Feengrotten"), which are listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the "most colourful grottoes in the world", and which lead you through a fantastical underground world.
In the surrounding area, you find Germany’s oldest natural race track, the "Schleizer Dreieck". In addition, numerous hiking trails begin right outside the hotel. Guests are welcome to use our indoor pool free of charge at any time, or to round off the day with a sauna session. A solarium is also available.
