The popular Kagura Ski Resort gondola and the rest stop Michi-no-Eki Mitsumata are both 300 metres away. Kaido no Yu hot spring is situated right beside the rest stop. Situated 1500 metres above sea level, Kagura Ski Resort's ski season extends for a long period starting from November all the way through to May, and summer brush skiing is available between July and October.
Kagura Ski resort is connected to Naeba Ski Resort and the Tashiro ski area. At 2,000 metres above sea level, guests can enjoy views of the renowned Mt. Naeba flower field.
The Kiyotsu-gawa River flows near the property, and activities that can be enjoyed in the area include hiking, trekking and river fishing. Autumn leaves can be enjoyed after the summer season.
