With the Thung Khe mountain range as a backdrop, Mai Chau Riverside Resort provides eco-friendly bungalows with a patio. Spread over 2000 square metres of vegetable gardens, it also has a fish pond and a local museum.
Inspired by traditional Thai stilt houses, the wooden bungalows are decorated with natural materials such as bamboo and palm leaves. Simply furnished, all come with tea/coffee making facilities and a personal safe. Private bathrooms have a rainshower.
Mai Chau Riverside Resort is located in Ban Lac Village, home to many ethnic Thai people. It is an hour's drive from Kim Boi Hot Springs and 150 km from Hanoi. Shuttle services can be arranged, at an extra charge.
On-site activities include hiking and cycling. There is also a children's playground and free public parking. Luggage can be stored at the 24-hour front desk.
A daily buffet breakfast is available at the resort's restaurant. There is also a bar.
