Ryokan Murataya is a 5-minute walk from Takamori Yusui Tunnel Park, and a 5-minute drive from Shirakawa Suigen (Shirakawa Spring Source). Mount Aso can be visited a 30-minute drive away.

Rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, a low table with seating cushions and traditional futon bedding. They’re fitted with air conditioning/heating and an LCD TV, while bathrooms and toilets are shared.
