Only a 3-minute walk from Sanjo Subway Station, Nisshokan Shoshintei offers simple Japanese-style accommodations in the centre of Kyoto. Guests can sit out at the traditional garden, which features a relaxing outdoor foot bath. A spacious public bath is on-site and free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas.
The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Includes a TV, a safety deposit box and an en suite bathroom. Japanese Yukata robes and toothbrush sets are provided for all guests.
Local gifts can be purchased at the souvenir shop and drink vending machines are on-site. A trouser press can be borrowed for free and photocopying services are available at the front desk.
Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner at the guests’ rooms. Japanese-style set menu is served for breakfast.
Shoshintei Nisshokan is a 20-minute walk from Chion-in Temple and a 10-minute walk from Yasaka Shrine. Nijo Castle is a 10-minute drive and JR Kyoto Station is a 15-minute drive away.
