This medieval castle is located on the top of a hill 15 km from Coimbra and offers panoramic views of the countryside. Its spacious living room features original 16th-century windows and doors.

Ega’s rooms include a flat-screen satellite TV. Rustic furniture, including a 4-poster bed and wooden pieces are featured. All rooms come with a private bathroom with heated towel rails.

Free bike rental is available at Paço da Ega, and guests can cycle to the nearby ruins of the city of Conimbriga. They can also relax by the outside pool or read in the spacious living room.
