Haus Diefenbach is located in the German-Belgian Nature Park in the Rureifel, close to many hiking and cycling trails. The nearby Rursee Lake is ideal for swimming, water sports and boat trips.
Guests benefit from free travel on local busses and trains, as well as the Aachen and Rhein-Sieg local transport networks thanks to the GästeTicket Erlebnisregion Nationalpark Eifel. The in-house ranger will be happy to take you on guided tours through untouched forests and past various landmarks, such as the Mariawald Abbey.
The nearby North Eifel Nature Park offers plenty for all the family, and is also a popular region among motorcyclists. Trips to Belgium, Luxembourg and the Nürburgring race track are also possible.
The Phantasialand theme park can be reached from here with ease. Use of the indoor pool is free of charge to guests, but there is a charge for the use of the sauna and solarium.
Please note that guests must reserve a table at the restaurant at least 1 day in advance.
The guest house provides safe storage for motorbikes.
