In Bratislava, Slowakije, is Michael's Gate de enige stadspoort die bewaard is gebleven van middeleeuwse vestingen en een van de oudste stadsgebouwen is. Gebouwd rond het jaar 1300, is de huidige vorm het resultaat van barokke reconstructies in 1758, toen het standbeeld van St. Michael en de draak op de top werd geplaatst. De toren herbergt de wapenbeurs van het stadsmuseum van Bratislava.
De geschiedenis van de poort van St. Michael dateert uit het einde van de 13e eeuw en het eerste geschreven document over het bestaan dateert uit 1411. Het fort voor de poort van St. Michael werd afgesloten door een ophaalbrug over een gracht. Later werd het herbouwd in steen. De ingang werd afgesloten door een getekende valhuid samen met een houten deur.
Vandaag de dag onder de poort van Michael zijn er luxe winkels en restaurants zoals Christian Dior en Swarovski.
