The award-winning Lanterna Premium Camping Resort by Valamar is one of the largest campgrounds in Croatia and features a new family aquapark with 1,350 m² of water surface in 4 swimming pools. Enjoying a beachfront location on a green Lanterna peninsula, it also provides several bars and restaurants.
All mobile homes comprise air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. There is a covered terrace with seating area in each unit.
The à la carte restaurant has a rich selection of local specialties and international dishes. Guests can relax at the Adria Beach or Belvedere Cafe with views of the picturesque historical town of Novigrad, which is 8 km away.
New family aquapark includes slides and children attractions, 4 reconstructed pools and a new children pool, several water slides and a pirate ship.
Various live music and similar events are often organised at Mobile Homes Camping Lanterna. The Maro Club organises activities for children.
Poreč, with its UNESCO-protected Euphrasian Basilica, is 13 km from Lanterna Premium Camping Resort by Valamar. Poreč is a town of true hospitality and a rich tourist tradition. It is located on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula and abounds clean sea and beautiful beaches.
A stroll down the centuries-old streets leads to the square Marafor, where in ancient times a forum was located. The central Poreč street, Decumanus, has been preserved from the time when Poreč was an ancient port. Along with the museums and galleries located in beautiful town palaces, you must visit the Euphrasian Basilica. A glittering mosaic which covers the inside and facade of the church is one of the most beautiful preserved works of Byzantine art. Camping Lanterna is located on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula near the picturesque historical town Novigrad and the most important tourist centre Porec.
This is one of the best large campsites in Croatia and quite recently was awarded the Europe Prize 2007 by the German Camping Club (DCC). Located amid pure nature, with its pine and oak woods and the 3 kilometre long pebble beach, Camping Lanterna offers all conveniences for an outstanding holiday.
