Preparation

Cut the ham into small pieces and fry it in oil with the onion, chili pepper and minced garlic. Add the tomato sauce, chorizo, salt, pepper, water and potatoes. When the potatoes begin to soften add the pumpkin and corn. Let it simmer. If using corn on the cob, cut into thin rounds or shred them.

  • 1/4 pound of ham
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 large chili pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 chorizo
  • 2 tbsp dry wine
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 cup pumpkin diced
  • 2 packages of frozen corn (2 cups) or 4 ears of baby corn.
