Preparation

Place the sweet potato in a greased, buttered, ovenproof dish.
Combine the brown sugar, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon, and orange peel in a saucepan. cook stirring over medium heat until mixture boils, 2 minutes.
Add the mango to the greased pan along with the sweet potato, bake uncovered, at 375º (190º c), for 25 minutes.

  • 1 can of sweet potato (3 kg) cut in half lengthwise
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon in hibiscus
  • 1 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 2 butter spoons
  • 1/2 cup mango
