Situated in the Beidha area, The Rock Camp offers guests a traditional Bedouin experience. It has shared tents for meals and a large campfire, where guests can relax in the evening.
The Rock camp is located in Beidha area, 14 km north of Petra’s archaeological site.The traditional tents are fitted with beds and are decorated in either soft, white tones or bold colours. Bathroom facilities are shared.
The 24-hour staff at the camp can organize a variety of tours, including desert hikes and horse riding, on request. Guests can also dress up as Bedouins or get a Henna tattoo.
Traditional Bedouin-style dishes are served on request, including Zarb and Shraak. Fresh, cardamom-spiced coffee is also available.
