Grasmere village can be reached in less than 5 minutes’ drive, and the Wordsworth Museum is just over a mile from Thorney How. There are a variety of scenic walking routes to enjoy around the surrounding area.
You can relax in the traditional lounge, with a leather sofa and open fireplace. Evening meals are served at around 19:00 and a bar is available from 15:30 until 23:00.
Included in some rates is a simple breakfast with cereal, toast, tea and coffee. Full English options are also available for a surcharge.
