The guest rooms adjoin the main house and have a private entrance. All have a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities, and an en suite shower. There is also a south-facing conservatory with views of the gardens, exclusively for guests’ use.
Full English breakfast is served in the conservatory and features local meats and eggs from the farm’s own hens.
Thornton Lodge Farm is around 5 miles south of the North York Moors National Park, and 20 miles from the market town of Malton, famed for its connections to Charles Dickens. Thirsk is a 25-minute drive away, and home to the World of James Herriot exhibition.
