Wenteche, in de Mapuche-taal, betekent mensen uit het centrum. Een definitie die heel goed past bij dit artistieke collectief, dat zich sterk heeft gevestigd in de stad en opvalt in het circuit van onafhankelijke ruimtes, dankzij zijn volledige en absolute toewijding aan kunst.
Ondanks dat het wordt ondergedompeld in een route waar artistieke manifestaties in overvloed zijn, schijnt Sala Wenteche met zijn eigen licht, de kracht van zijn voorstel blijkt uit de ingang van de kamer waar je een imposante openluchtmuurschildering kunt zien van de kunstenaar Patricio Peña Oltra.

Met de bus
De reis duurt 1 uur en 45 minuten vanaf Santiago. Bestaande vertrekken met een frequentie van 15 minuten, de busbedrijven bieden een goed niveau van service en comfort.
Met de auto
Degenen die met de auto vanuit Santiago willen komen, moeten Route 68 nemen, de geschatte reistijd is 1 uur en 30 minuten.
Een andere noviteit die Sala Wenteche met zich meebrengt, is dat ze in hun belang om mensen dichter bij kunst te brengen, de privéwereld van de kunstenaar voor het publiek hebben geopend, in de galerie kun je de kunstenaar ontmoeten na de werken, hem zien in zijn creatieruimte en vraag hem persoonlijk wat zijn werk inspireerde.
