Set in Scarborough's beautiful valley, the Ashburton House is a family-run B&B that is just 10 minutes’ walk along the tree-lined Valley Road from the South Bay and town centre. The B&B has its own off-street car park.
All of the charming and comfortable bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom and are well equipped with TVs, DVD players, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and radio alarm clocks. Every year at least one of the 8 bedrooms is fully refurbished.
Throughout the public areas, the B&B aims to capture the charm and elegance of the late Victorian period, during which the property was built.
The B&B offers an extensive breakfast menu and as well as serving a full English breakfast, also offers grilled kippers, smoked salmon and many other lighter options. Scarborough is Britain's oldest coastal resort and as well as having numerous attractions in its own right, the town is also an ideal base from which to visit places such as Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby, York and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
