Its construction is of wood and of colonial style; It can only be seen from the outside, since the entry of visitors is not allowed.

It is said that the Viceroy of the same name stayed in this house upon his arrival in Puno, in the year 1668, to quell the rebellion of the Salcedo brothers and found the city of Puno.

This balcony is located on the corner of Deustua and Conde de Lemos streets.

It is currently an exhibition hall of the National Institute of Culture.
