Il reste aujourd'hui deux tronçons de la piste d'une longueur totale de 1 480 mètres, séparés par quelques mètres déjà pavés mais maintenant endommagés. La piste serait pavée de manière à surmonter les obstacles naturels, dans les zones de forte pente accentuées avec un sol difficile et irrégulier, souvent aggravées par les pentes les plus diverses.
La Calçadinha est également une agréable voie piétonne, avec environ 5 km d’extension. Pour accéder au parcours, vous pouvez partir près de l'église dans le centre historique à environ 700 mètres du pied lui-même et parcourir les sentiers de l'histoire.
