Calpe is a municipality of the Valencian Community (Spain) located on the north coast of the province of Alicante, in the region of Marina Alta.
On its coast lies the Peñón de Ifach, a rock mass of 332 m high. Peñón is one of the symbols of the Costa Blanca.
