The main chapel is large and grand where you can see, on the main altar, a good screen representing Our Lady of the Assumption.

It has three magnificent altars of gilded carving by João Correia Lopes, built around 1753. Each of these altars has a painting on canvas (18th century). Still in this chapel, it deserves special attention the very rich front in chiselled silver of portuense manufacture of the century. XVIII. In the middle of the north nave is kept a pulpit of beautiful artistic execution, work of João Correia Monteiro (1762).
