just 20 to 30 minutes from Lima, via the La Molina district, there is a place surrounded by a lot of nature and beautiful facades, with a sunny and pleasant climate, although it may not seem like it; it is very close to the capital Lima. This peaceful valley is one of the favorite destinations for many people in Lima on weekends, especially in winter.
Throughout the valley there are landscapes that are very popular for their natural vegetation, which allows all visitors to feel a relaxation, and deserved rest, "away" from our hectic lives in the city. To mention one activity, the entrance to the Lurín River is free and visitors can cool off in its clean waters without problems, since it is not polluted yet, and in the summer months it is very conducive to boating. Cieneguilla has great areas where you can practice mountain biking, rock climbing, horseback riding or simply go for a walk.
