La sacristie est la plus ancienne dépendance de l'église. Elle est carrée avec sa voûte d'ogives et sa clé cylindrique qui, selon Túlio Espanca, ressemble à l'art du début du XVIIe siècle.

Pour l’analyse architecturale et artistique du bâtiment, l’église de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios semble avoir été construite au début du XVIIe siècle, ce qui en fait la première référence connue vers 1700, lorsque la Confraternité de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, basée dans ce même temple. .
