The house has a private lockable gateway and in combination with the slow deep water in sea. the house is perfect for a visit with children.Sicily is the biggest island. situated in the Mediterranean Sea.Due to its strategic location. between the Street of Gibraltar and the Middle East. Sicily has been an attraction point for several nations. There are still evidence from that time. like the Greek temples. among others Agrigento. the Roman villa in Piazza Armerina. the Arabic spas and the Normandy cathedral in among others Palermo.The landscape of Sicily consists mainly of mountains and hills. In the north of the island are the famous mountain ranges: Peloritani. Nebrodi and Madonie which stretches from the east to the west side of the island. In the northeast is the biggest (approx. 3300m high) and most active volcano of Europe. the Etna.The Etna is also called Mongibello (beautiful mountain). The Sicilians have a lot of respect for this volcano and a famous saying goes: It takes lives. but gives life as well. (Lava ensures for a fertile ground). The arts in the northeastern of Sicily are partly flat and partly steep which gives a splendid variation in the landscape. On the contrary. the south is preponderant flat and in combination with the sun. this gives picturesque plains.
