Vitória do Espírito Santo

Guarapari is a coastal city of Espírito Santo, Brazil. It is a part of Greater Victoria, 47 km south of the state capital of Victoria.
Guarapari is located in the place where a taba of Goitacás was settled.

The first name was Jesuit Village, then, Village of Our Lady, Village of Santa Maria de Guaraparim, Guaraparim, Goaraparim and finally, Guarapari, a word of indigenous origin, derived (according to Montoya and Saint Hilaire) which appears on the seafront of various colors - and pari - net, meaning a place where nets are set up to catch guaras.
Guarapari is one of the favorite summer destinations of the capixabas and miners, Guarapari is among the cities of the coast of Espírito Santo that best combines leisure with infrastructure. The seashore, with many urbanized beaches and boardwalks, kiosks, bars and restaurants - such as the beaches of Morro, Castanheiras and Areia Preta - attract families with children and the elderly who love calm and transparent waters and monastic sands.
Guarapari also reserves surprises for sportsmen and sportswomen.
On the quiet beaches of the Sun, d'Ulé, Setibão and the Fence there are good waves all year round, as well as on the beach of Morro.
Divers, who find even more crystalline waters between December and May, feast on shipwrecks, islands and reefs very close to the coast. They are colorful fish and corals, turtles, octopuses, rays and lobsters scattered over Three Islands, Lighthouse of Escalvada and Rasa Island.
The gastronomy of Guarapari is based on the cuisine of Espírito Santo where the secret is in the seasoning.
The capixaba is the result of a cauldron of races that settled here, making our land a perfect blend of the most varied cultures.
The regional cuisine, as it could not be, is based on fish and shellfish, which produce the traditional Moqueca Capixaba and many more variations, the Capixaba Pie, the Moqueca Garoupa salted with banana from the land, the Peroá Frito with corn flour and the banana moqueca of the earth.
Traditional Capixaba cuisine can be found in several restaurants on the beaches and in the city.
At Rota do Sol and Moqueca you will find numerous restaurants specializing in seafood, but you can also count on restaurants in the Capixaba cuisine.
The climate of the city is Tropical Atlantic. With normal temperatures, it does not show great variations of temperature, thanks to the proximity to the coast.
There is usually very strong wind in the county, both during the summer and during the winter.
The highest recorded temperature was 38 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 3 degrees Celsius.
