Weather
The climate is generally considered to be a Mediterranean climate, with rainfall restricted exclusively to the winter season.
The proximity to the sea means that the temperatures of the earth are regulated by the ocean currents during the summer and winter months (October to March and April to September, respectively) causing temperatures to vary between 10 and 22ºC.
The mild climate and the lack of morning frost in the winter have helped the growth of robust vegetation, including both native species and imported species, such as plants such as bougainvillea, hibiscus and gold thimbles.
