Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is the southernmost part of Croatia, is a Croatian city of the Adriatic Sea in the Dalmatian region. It is one of the most important tourist destinations of the Mediterranean, a port and the center of the district of Dubrovnik-Neretva.

Tourism
Nestled between the Adriatic and the Dinaric Alps, it is an affordable and affordable haven for many European travelers who want to get away from the big city.
Dubrovnik is a living and extraordinarily well preserved example of a medieval walled city. Among the magnificent Renaissance and Baroque medieval monuments, within the magnificent fortifications with its monumental city gates, such as the Rector's Palace (now the Rector's Palace), dating from the 11th century, the Franciscan Monastery (completed in the fourteenth century, but now largely Baroque in appearance) with its imposing church, the Dominican Monastery, the cathedral (rebuilt after the earthquake of 1667), the customs (Sponza), the eclectic appearance that reveals the fact that it is the work of several hands over many years, and a number of other baroque churches, such as St. Blaise (patron saint of the city).
Gastronomy
The gastronomy is quite varied and worth a try.
As an appetizer the "prosciutto" with olives and goat cheese is a delight, and as main dishes are Dalmatian food, black rissotos, oysters and mussels that are grown in Malostonski bay (60 km from Dubrovnik), octopus salad, or grilled sardine simple and tasty with olive oil and garlic.
Another traditional fish meal is "Dalmatinski brodet" (Italian brodetto), a mixture of fresh fish.
As for meat, it is necessary to taste "pecena janjetina" (traditional roasted lamb), "Green Menestra" a mixture of fresh green and yellow cabbages with mixed meat (ham, lamb and sausages), and traditional "Cevapcici", originating from neighboring Bosnia.
