The Jewish Museum of Belgium, located rue des Minimes 21 in Brussels, brings together a vast collection of traditional jewels from Europe, Asia and Africa (after the 18th century). Then, the objects come mainly from the regions east of the Rhine and from the countries around the Mediterranean basin.
Imagined at the end of the 1970s, the Jewish Museum of Belgium began to build up its collection in the early 1990s. It is the place where the current acts of the rue des Minimes opened these doors to the public in 2005.
The Jewish Museum of Belgium has a Jewish environment of 750, 1,250 works of artists, 20,000 photographs, 5,000 posters as well as CDs, records and cassettes. The high quality exhibitions consist of concerts and lectures.
The library has 25,000 listeners and various publications, including Hebrew and Yiddish frees, Jewish art and artists, history of Judaism and Jews in Belgium, and Jewish genealogy, although there are thematic and biographical files.
The association benefits from an agreement with Actiris for the coach of the ACS trainees and met the trainee after 2002, benevolent volunteers from the organization of a German association "Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste". "
