The facade of this venerable institution could not have been less lofty. It is made of bricks and to it is added a decoration inspired by pre-Hispanic and colonial motifs. This facade is of contemporary construction and contains the imperishable style of the Spanish master Manuel Piqueras Cotolí.
Inside it has two patios. The first is on two floors, with elegant and proportional arches, a small garden and a fountain in the center. The second patio is on one level. Between the two there are small, intimate and tasteful spaces.

Visits: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 15:00.
Since 1603 it was the House of Studies of the Order of San Agustín, and later Colegio de San Idelfonso. This huge complex, three times larger than what has survived to this day, reached the edge of the Rímac and was famous for the luxury of its interiors.
It has functioned as the National School of Fine Arts since 1918. The old cloisters have regained their former splendor and the high walls of the church are the same as those of the Aula Magna.
