Between 1867 and 1871 it was lowered from this place and dispersed in an unknown place, having been rebuilt in 1916 by Saavedra Machado and Luís Chaves and placed in the place where it is today. It maintains original the shaft, the capital and the crowning corújo, all these elements of Manueline style.

Built in the beginning of the century. In 1698, in the reign of King Manuel I (1495-1521), in 1698 he was removed from the front of the former Royal Palace of D. Dinis (present Pousada da Rainha Santa Isabel) to the Santo André terreiro, in front of the County of the time.
