Of important archaeological value, the attraction offers more than three hundred monuments in "El Camino del Moai", since there is the open quarry that carried out its carving.
The volcano is one hundred meters high and is made up of volcanic tuffs. Oval in shape with a crater at the top, the interior lagoon is another of its interests, which is 50 meters deep in its deepest part.
Located 18 kilometers northeast of Hanga Roa.
Land route until the middle of the road in a northeast direction from Hanga Roa. Then you continue walking or on horseback.
It is one of the best known since most of the Moais in Rapa Nui were carved in its crater. In its surroundings you can find many of these colossal statues in different stages of construction. Inside the crater there is a freshwater lagoon.
