Die archäologische Station besteht aus zwei Gebäuden, von denen eines ein Badeort und das andere ein Salzsee ist, die beide römischen Ursprungs sind.
Gegenwärtig sind diese Ruinen wegen des Baus eines Wohnblocks teilweise begraben.
Das Hotel liegt in einer Wohngegend mit Zugang zum Praia da Luz, den römischen Ruinen von Vila da Luz.
Dieses Denkmal wurde 1992 als Eigentum von öffentlichem Interesse eingestuft.
