The archaeological station is composed of two buildings, one is a seaside resort and the other is a salt lake, both of Roman origin.
At present, these ruins are partially buried, due to the construction of an apartment block.
Located in an urbanized area of access to Praia da Luz, the Roman Ruins of Vila da Luz.
This monument was classified as Property of Public Interest in 1992.
