The Porto Alegre Art Exchange Gallery started its activities in 1980. Working with contemporary art since then, the gallery represents some of the most significant names in the national market, but always with the concern of launching new talents. In its 34 years of activity, the gallery has held more than 250 exhibitions, as well as actively participating in fairs, both in Brazil and abroad.
In March 2011, the Art Exchange moved to a new headquarters in Porto Alegre, with approximately 800 square meters, reflecting the confidence in its work, as well as its artists, collectors and the Brazilian art market.
In April 2014, the gallery opens branch in the city of São Paulo.
