Als u meer spectaculaire uitzichten op Bratislava en zijn kasteel wilt, is het de moeite waard om omhoog te klimmen naar het observatiedek op de Novy Most-brug aan de rand van de Slowaakse hoofdstad.
Novy Most of Most SNP (New of SNP Bridge) werd voltooid en geopend voor verkeer in 1971. In tegenstelling tot de meeste monstruositeiten van de Slowaakse communistische architectuur, verenigen de Novy Most en de toren zich in de eeuwenoude architectuur van Bratislava. Op ongeveer 300 voet boven de rivier de Donau, de Novy Most, leek het me op de Seattle Space Needle uit de verte.
Er is een loopbrug voor voetgangers om naar en van Novy Most te lopen. Neem de lift naar het observatiedek. Na een korte rit arriveer je op het observatieplatform waar een populair maar duur UFO-restaurant is (je moet de reservering maken om te eten).
Er zijn souvenirs verkrijgbaar op het Novy Most-observatiedek en het is dagelijks geopend voor bezoekers om foto's te bekijken en te maken van het panorama van Bratislava dat het omringt. Het is ongeveer een of twee uur van uw tijd waard als u Bratislava bezoekt.
